Figueroa Arms at Fig and 41st is such an odd building. I had assumed it had to be from the 1910s to be so weird but it’s from 1927. I can’t think of anything remotely similar to this from the 1920s in LA (or anywhere else for that matter).

So wait, you're telling me that the Boring Company Vegas Loop won't actually go to the airport, just some parking garages where you can catch a shuttle to the airport? Come on.

My Roman Empire is the old hotel atriums that were filled with trees and fountains and now just have generic modern low maintenance furnishings. I personally spent a lot of time at the Hyatt Regency SFO airport (pics 3 and 4) as a teen.
