@jarrett-lerner.bsky.social We’re doing Freedom to Read week at my school and were asked to wear book gear. Thanks to your shirts and sweatshirts I have a shirt and sweatshirt for everyday and have been getting lots of compliments on them.

Almost 50 years ago (in Nov.) my parents were given a cutting of a Hoya Carnosa plant for their wedding. I wanted a cutting when I got married but we didn’t have room. Finally took a cutting today. Hopefully it roots and I can plant it.

We moved back to my hometown last summer to help my parents. While my brain knew it would be hard to watch them decline, my heart wasn’t truly prepared. Although, I’m very grateful for the good moments and am trying to hang on to them more than the sad ones.

As a teacher I like to get massages on Friday afternoon/evening so I can have the weekend to relax and allow my muscles to recover. Finally found a massage therapist who is available Fridays. Got my first massage in forever last night. I will go back. She even did my face & not all therapist do that

We have a three day weekend this weekend. I can definitely use an extra day of sleeping in and naps. My sleep lately has been terrible for reasons I can’t totally control and last weekend I pretty much slept the whole weekend to feel rested for still last Monday.

Still on that other app but finally also decided to check out this new space. So far a lot of posts in my feed are in German, guess that’s a good way to brush up on my German knowledge.
