I really am curious about the cultural implications of why, exactly, the entire tv/movie premise of 'there is a group of people who are expertly competent in their field and routinely save the world but have to do so in secret cos knowing the truth would put people in danger' has just disappeared...

Finally finishing Star Trek Picard and uhhhh I liked this season a LOT but they really ended the Big Bad with a Star Wars reference and spent 30 minutes on exposition epilogue? And they gave Jack Crusher, the Most Special-est Little Boy in the Galaxy, a Special Big Boy Chair next to the Captain????
