Would love one or two new CPs for an upmarket/book club comedy. Romance as a B-plot. Similar vibes to Schitts Creek. :) get in touch if interested!

I live near a neighborhood with lots of turn-of-the-century houses, like the one below. I love going for walks and imagining the people and stories collected over the decades.

Midge Mulligan–a young, broke, and inexperienced therapist–can’t wait to meet her first clients. When the infamous and wealthy Ponsonby family books an appointment, Midge thinks it must be a mistake. And it is.

Sometimes I think the best gift I can give myself, daily, is sitting down with a book with my phone in another room. The best kind of brain break from the world at your fingers.

Good morning.

Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors.

It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

I have a family member in the military, and they said this was one of the most egregious errors they've seen in their (long) career. Will Hegseth keep downplaying his catastrophic blunder? Probably.
“There is no administration in the world — beyond this one — where a blunder of these proportions happens and nobody gets fired or resigns. Not in London. Not in Moscow. Not in Tokyo. Not in Pyongyang. Nowhere.” www.politico.com/newsletters/...

Things that are helping me since November 6:

-Checking in with like-minded folks everyday. We're not in this alone.
-Making art. Any creative practice brings connection and groundedness (and joy!).
-Reminding yourself nothing is forever. Change will come if we know the future we want.
