Investing in school mental health staff can have a large impact on student well-being.

Learning at a young age that adults are present and care can fundamentally change students' relationship to seeking mental health care in the future.

The adults in the room really set the tone for youth!

Longitudinal research is the key to understanding mental health, but it can pose challenges to youth privacy and autonomy.

By adding 7 “silly” questions (think: eye color, birth month, etc.) to routine school screeners, we can link and track symptoms over time - no ID required!
This paper by @meghanacostello.bsky.social feels particularly important given today’s political climate. Reach out if you are interested in collaborating! psycnet.apa.org/doiLanding?d...

When I started in research as a career, I knew that success would be measured in productivity.

What I *didn't* expect was how much predatory journal content there actually would be (on a near-daily basis).
The strain on scientific publishing: we set out to characterise the remarkable growth of the scientific literature in the last few years, in spite of declining growth in total scientists. What is going on?
