As a 73 year old woman now, I clearly remember my uncle, a white Christian man and his wife from Falls Church, Va. travelling into D.C. every day to take food, pick up dirty clothing, wash, dry them and return them every day. His re-telling of this now famous Civil Rights Movement impacted many.
