I have my personal reservations about Walz politically, but that he advocated for queer students as a teacher and football coach IN MANKATO OF ALL PLACES in 1999 is far above and beyond expectation, truly.

if i had a way to get my landlord to install a heat pump at my apartment I WOULD
a thing that keeps me up at night: I see a lot of people who don’t have a lot of power over household emissions (because they rent, don’t live near public transit, are low income, etc.) pushing back on talk about solutions to household emissions

it’s a really tough thing to talk about bc Feelings

hello my fellow disabled US citizens,

this is your friendly reminder that if you want to vote by mail

you have to request that in advance

*Glances at calendar*

(If you forget then early/curbside voting may also be an accessible option for you)

I'd love to see this circulate beyond MN.

This abrupt dissolution is of a 40+ year LGBTQ+ legacy org—the state's largest HIV/AIDS org, provider of counseling, needle exchange, gender affirming care navigation & defense, a pharmacy, housing programming, medical transportation... Too much to name‼️
UPDATE:

60+ of the ~80 dislocated workers from Rainbow Health in Minneapolis & Duluth are part of SEIU. They've decided to start this fundraiser that will directly go toward supporting staff.

If you'd rather give in a nonprofit capacity, see PFund's ReVITALization Campaign below.

not to be a pedant, but seriously. the uncommitted protestors won. the media and the politicians will absolutely not admit this, because they can't even acknowledge it. so we can literally just seize the narrative. we did it.
arguably, the uncommitted protest vote worked, which means the pressure shouldn't be taken off kamala either.

Every little bit you can donate will make a huge difference. Could you donate or share to spread the word?

Thanks a lot!

You know, I bet President Harris would make it so they can't send you shipment notifications when all that's happened is a label got created

I was like "yeah idk I'm fine with Biden continuing to run and his age is a Weird Issue to focus on, if he needs to step down later we just get President Harris, whatevs" but yknow what I'm good this too, thanks for being semi competent for once
i think a huge proportion of Biden Stayers were motivated by the evidence of the last 25 years that this party was simply incapable of handling an end around handoff play like this with a running clock while down 4 & the speed with which they turned that corner & hit the seam has changed everything
A lot is driven imo by the biden-stay camp being so ready to move on. The immediate realization that Biden had successfully guided the party into near unanimous support of Harris, and excitement (palpable vibe shift, fundraising) really did a lot to instantly calm many legitimate concerns.

I’m trying to find a link to share that has a photo of Mr. Castile’s beautiful face as the thumbnail instead of a violent image or a postmortem. It’s surprisingly hard. So here’s an image I borrowed from the National Urban League’s Facebook page

Cobalt's initial goal was met within about 12 hours of being posted.

The family updated on Friday to explain that, given the level of hate they're receiving due to public attention, they'll need to install home security, which is unexpected.

New goal is $50k & we're already at $41k

🙏🏻🖤✨
Here is the link for contributing to Cobalt's family's medical expenses.

Cobalt is a trans student from Hopkins (Minneapolis inner ring suburb) who was attacked at school 5/30/24. She required emergency care including dental work & facial reconstruction.
