NEW: A searing editorial in the The Kyiv Independent.

“It’s time to say it plainly. America’s leadership has switched sides in the war. The American people have not, and they should speak up.

“A president just disrespected America in the Oval Office. It wasn’t Zelensky.”

Turns out my eight-year-old son thought Innocent Smoothies were called Ignorant Smoothies. And now I want that brand to exist.

Cobra Kai nailed the landing. Absolute '80s-infused cheese but I loved it. No mercy!

If Chelsea winning against West Ham wasn't enough, we did it with two Marcs on the pitch.

Adored The Wild Robot. Absolutely no need to watch it in 4K as you'll be viewing it through blurry tear-filled eyes throughout.

Monkey Man should win / have all the awards. Extraordinary film.

One of my favourite times of the month: new T3 issue day.

This hits hard. What an incredible, one-off talent. Lynch shocked me with Blue Velvet, scared me with Mulholland Drive, made me cry hard with The Straight Story, confused the hell out of me with Lost Highway. And wowed me with Twin Peaks. Truly one of the best. RIP.

Finally watched the Speak No Evil remake. Decent and diverges from the original, in a good way. Gave me the same uncomfortable, unbearable feeling as Eden Lake - also from the same director.

Wallace & Gromit plus Gavin And Stacey brought 'must watch at scheduled time' TV back this Christmas and it was glorious.

Loved doing this - I made the perfect Advent Calendar, using the Home Alone LEGO house. www.shortlist.com/news/i-turne...

A lot of talk about the lighting and the cinematography in the new Superman trailer. Not sure where this film criticism has spawned from but it's nearly always inaccurate and incredibly boring.

Yesterday's Gig For Gaza was incredible. Kneecap the highlight but what a way to spread a message.

Watching the 1997 The Jackal movie (these weekly waits for a new episode of The Day Of The Jackal are getting to me). Ludicrous and all over the place. The soundtrack, though: '90s heaven.

"Daddy, he's playing with Star Wars figures just like me...." Utter joy watching Skeleton Crew with my eight year old. Proper Amblin-style nostalgia pangs for me and a big smile throughout from him.

Thought I'd caught up with MasterChef: The Professionals but turns out I have about a gazillion episodes to watch. Are they showing this thing every hour? There's only so much seared duck breast I can handle.

I have 26 points sitting on my Fantasy Football sub bench after this weekend's action. And it's mostly because I thought Spurs would be very Spursy.
