Ok it was a backs against the wall performance from City. But what really pleased me. Was it allowed us to see the strengths of Haaland & Doku. When they have lots of space to run into. They will be deadly when they are given space.rather than being surrounded and blocked off by opposition bodies

@manchestercitytony.bsky.social How you feeling about the upcoming season Tone. Are you confident, optimistic or worried for City. I will be honest I’m a bit concerned, about the look of the squad. I don’t think it’s strong enough to compete for trophies, this time around. So hope I’m wrong though

@manchestercitytony.bsky.social Hi Tone,do u think City could go back in for Pacqueta, now he’s been cleared. Could City find space for him in the squad, especially if Gundogan leaves. If it were possible would City negotiate a lower price than last time & possibly offer players in any possible deal

@manchestercitytony.bsky.social Hi Tone hope your good. Do you know Graeme Bailey of TBR on X. He’s tweeted this morning that City are looking at eventual replacements for De Bruyne. Graeme says he can reveal City are looking at Atalanta’s Belgium playmaker Charles de Ketelaere. Available for £20m

So hope City win tonight. But that midfield line up,does not fill me with great confidence. I have a feeling if City don’t win tonight. Then many will be pointing their fingers,at the lack of legs and energy in the midfield. Fingers crossed City get the win though

Many people seem surprised by how well Bournemouth are currently doing in the PL.But to the many people involved in football. Andoni Iraola isn’t a surprise. As he is a pupil of Marcelo Bielsa. When they were both together at Athletic Bilbao

Huge win and confidence boost for City. But that centre of midfield still worries me. I also can’t wait see a front 3 of Marmoush,Savinho & Haaland, when we do it will be awesome. I think the next time Khusanov starts for City. It might be best to have a leader like Dias alongside him. To help him

Hope I’m wrong, but I am really worried about that starting midfield today for City. They could get severely overrun
January 25, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Hope Pep tries something different,in the centre of midfield today. Maybe put Foden,Grealish in there,or even McAtee . I just don’t want to see Bernardo in there, moping about and passing backwards or sideways. I just want to see some energy in there and quick forward passing
January 25, 2025 at 8:06 AM
Really cannot wait to see. A City attacking line up, consisting of Marmoush,Savinho & Haaland. Just hope City can add a defensive midfielder,to the squad in this window. Then it will be the most amazing transfer window for City. It will give the squad,a massive boost in the 2nd half of the season
January 21, 2025 at 7:38 PM
It’s a long shot. But if City can get Khusanov,Marmoush & Reis deals done. Then the two remaining signings I would love City to make. Would be Guimaraes for around £80m-£100m & Kimmich on a pre contract. Khusanov,Marmoush & Guimaraes join the squad this month. Kimmich & Reis join in the summer🙏🏻🙏🏻👕

@manchestercitytony.bsky.social Hi Tone, the journalist Dean Jones has said on X last night. That there could be from anything up to 6 major new signings by City, this month. Defence is currently being fixed. But midfield remains the focus,of their attention. He mentions no names though
January 11, 2025 at 7:56 AM
@manchestercitytony.bsky.social Tone do you think the arrival of Marmoush. Possibly means Grealish will be looking for another club, come the summer. Or maybe even Doku going out on loan somewhere. I have a feeling Nunes will probably leave City this summer as well
January 8, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Wondering if City have decided to go for Douglas Luiz on a loan deal this month. Because Frankfurt are being reluctant to let Marmoush leave them this month. Unless they receive a fee, they can’t refuse. Meaning City would have to pay more than they had originally hoped to pay,for Marmoush

I had a feeling lots of City fans were jumping the gun, last night. Regarding City transfer rumours. That have once again been shot down by journalists,in the last few hours. I just hope City don’t drag their feet,on any opportunities to sign and add good quality to help improve the current squad
January 4, 2025 at 10:02 AM
@manchestercitytony.bsky.social Tone don’t know if you have seen yet. But apparently Simon Mullock, who is usually reliable has reported that City are considering a move for Douglas Luiz, on a loan deal from Juventus. I don’t think that would be a bad move if true. Luiz is ok I think

Amazing what a bit of energy and quick feet & thinking. Can do to a team so lacking in confidence and so slow in possession. McAtee is just what the team needed. In that 2nd half today. Hopefully he will get more minutes in the weeks to come
December 29, 2024 at 5:21 PM
Please City just any kind of win today, will do 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👕👕👕. City just need to be more ruthless and clinical in the final 3rd today. Than they have been recently. I just wonder also if Pep would be tempted play a few academy players today. Mcatee and O’Reilly. Come to mind, for me
December 29, 2024 at 7:49 AM
I hope City & Pep think this. But my ideal January transfer window, for City would consist of. A right back that can play centre back also. Two midfielders a 6 & an 8. A back up forward able play anywhere across front line. A few sales 2 or 3 to accommodate the new signings. Echeverri arriving also
December 27, 2024 at 7:45 AM
I love Pep,but he now needs to stop being loyal to Gundogan & Bernardo. For me they are part of the problem the team has in midfield. They are to slow now on & off the ball. To soft in 50/50 challenges. On Boxing Day I would try Kovacic,De Bruyne & Foden in midfield. With Doku & Savinho,on the wings
December 22, 2024 at 6:34 AM
Please City, just any kind of positive result tomorrow at a tough away ground. Can only help improve the current low confidence in the team. City just need a lucky moment to happen or bit of brilliance. Then hopefully they can turn this horrible run of form around 🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👕👕
