Tonight while the USA sleeps, 129 million birds will fly overhead as part of spring migration.

Many will be tiny, colorful visitors arriving from South and Central America, such as warblers.

Migration modeling is fascinating. Yup, that’s BIRDS on the weather radar. 🌿 🪶

You can help these millions of birds migrate safely! Here are a few ways:

1. Keep your cats indoors. They’re adorable but kill an estimated 2.4 billion wild birds in the United States each year.

2. Turn off lights at night. They’re disorienting to migrating birds!

3. Grow native plant gardens.
