Something I feel increasingly aware of, since I teach almost exclusively undergrads, is that in getting excited about the supposed uses of AI we’re not teaching actual stewardship of information or knowledge. More simply: you can’t even check AI if you haven’t done the work without AI.

Ahead of the election, only 25% of Americans agreed that "The people convicted for their role in the violent January 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol are really patriots who are being held hostage by the government."
But Trump had convinced 46% of Republicans this was true.
