it's not just that Bills fans were right about Josh Allen's potential while idiots like me were wrong, you could argue the way Bills fans believed so aggressively in Josh Allen even when he was playing terribly bought him time to develop. I urge Bills fans to take even more victory laps on this
TO ME: I think teams want 2024 Josh Allen without realizing that 2018-2019 Josh Allen has to happen as well. Guys that need reps have to have the full confidence and support of the team behind them, and in AR and Lance’s case they couldn’t get up to speed quick enough
Maybe I’m taking the wrong lesson but seeing how Lance and AR played out in the league (and I get injuries were involved) but starting experience has to be at least somewhat important in the process.

I got the best teaching evals of my career for a large course last semester— along with three teaching awards— after rebuilding my intro class around in-class handwritten essays. I simply do not believe that this is unsolvable or that students don't care about actually learning to do their work.
In only two years, ChatGPT has unraveled the entire academic project.

So - I've actually led Ebola outbreak response at USAID.
This is bunk from Elon. They have laid off most of the experts, they're bankrupting most of the partner orgs, have withdrawn from WHO, and muzzled CDC.
What's left is a fig-leaf effort to cover their asses politically.

Have other university ITs become just as overzealous or are we blessed with a particularly impossible setup? in recent years, under the disguise of cybersecurity, we have gradually lost all authority over our work computers (e.g., what software to access) & now everything is subject to bureaucracy.
