In in a WW2 & the Holocaust course in uni, I learned that one reason the Nazis could successfully scapegoat & genocide Jewish people was that the Jewish population in Europe was the magic number of “2% or less.” Every time I see trans population percentages in the USA or UK, I remember that.

So happy we killed a Republican amendment that would have hamstrung this important bill designed to help solve our Missing & Murdered Indiginous Person problem.
Especially grateful for the Republican who called out the amendment sponsor & said we need to "send this amendment back to the playground"

Watching them debate the missing indigenous persons act in Montana and the representative Schubert just called it a "woke DEI program."

I'm a trans guy who was once an anorexic teenage girl. The median age of onset is 12, I lost a friend to it at 13. EDs take 10,200 lives per year while 22% of youth show disordered eating habits, but you won't hear about that because it was never about the children.
If they actually cared about children, you'd hear more about this than trans kids - "A rise in teenage girls self-harming and suffering “starvation from an eating disorder” has driven a dramatic increase in emergency hospital admissions for children with mental health problems." [Times]
