Democrats aren’t powerless against Trump’s blitzkrieg power-grab.

Senate rules are designed to protect the rights of the minority and Democrats have tools at their disposal to grind Senate business to a halt if Republicans try to ram through Trump’s extremist agenda: indivisible.org/resource/how...

Where are the defenders of the US as Elon and nameless private agents infiltrate US agencies, commandeer US servers, steal US data, seize US money, march US officials from US buildings? Who sallies forth from the FBI? The CIA? Congress? DoD? The media? This is a coup—and America appears defenseless.

"Well, Grant, we've had the devil's own day today, haven't we?"

"Yes. Lick 'em tomorrow though."

Today is one of the bad days in American history. Better days will come.

The entire nation of Australia gets it. Media in that country are having to blur what Elon Musk did twice in public today because of laws there regarding the Nazi salute.

Wait, where's the part to lower egg prices? Oh, well.

All this because you complained about bad governance and bureaucratic ineptitude!

This is what you voted for. You got it!

So don't complain when it comes back to bite you in the ass!

Not going to pretend to be surprised about this because I wrote a book about January 6. But yes—if you were wondering—the most malevolent criminal in US political history is about to be POTUS in 6 days. It's an unimaginable situation, essentially a living nightmare, and very few fully comprehend it.

Truth be told, it does seem kind of silly to have the FBI do background checks on presidential appointees when the president is a convicted criminal and an adjudicated digital rapist.

Please call. Tell your family and neighbors to call. This is their second attempt at the nonprofit killer bill. If passed, it will allow Trump to have Treasury label any nonprofit that is politically inconvenient for him as “terrorist” to shut them up and mess up their funding.
As promised, updated scripts here for HR 9495, which will be headed back to the floor around Wednesday.

Yes, this is the bill that gives the Sec. Treasury powers to strip non-profits of their C3 status.

1. For House members,
2. For Senators,
3. For New Yorkers to call Schumer.

Please call.
