It’s been a wild five years, and I’m so proud of what we built—bringing the brand and app to life with an incredible team.
RetroCrush was pure joy—easily the most fun and passion I’ve ever had in my career. I’ll always be grateful.

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

Seeing GDT, who has been very vocal about his HATE for AI, working with and praising a company that is obsessed with, and has all hands deep in AI (especially for using film to train AI), kinda surprises me.

A reminder to my fellow fats, since vaccine season has begun: you can & SHOULD request a longer needle for your shots. Shorter needles may not reach past your upper fat layers, making them less effective (AND your arm more sore). So talk to your doc when you get your shots!! It can really help.

I need an entire social media cleanse ( as I type on social media) lol I just need a total brain cleanse. Everything is overwhelming so that means it's time to be outside. Gonna enjoy some air before streaming some cozy demos tonight for folks who need a chill place to hang for a bit.

Found some NANA at Barnes and Noble. It's pretty crazy how much manga has grown in the US. I'm showing my age but... I remember when I'm they didn't even have a manga section and it was grouped with comics or young adult sections.

It's been one week since being laid off and honestly, I've been going through many ups and downs, but I'VE mostly been using my time to rest and de-program my mind from the things that caused me so much day-to-day anxiety. It really made me feel so burnt out.

Going to focus on building out my anime physical collection. I've been good on not having toooooo much because NYC apartments. But I'm in a bigger space and wanna focus on only titles that have moved me. Thank goodness there are so many that have been remastered.
