People often say that Shapiro's incendiary views on Palestine and Palestinians were limited to him being a foolish college student— OK, put aside that he hasn't actually apologized for any of that, he was 38 years old when he wrote thisin 2011.

Whole thing is sickening, but what makes it extra depraved is that the Feds are literally just doing it this way to make content. The guns, the masks, the tear gas, jumping people on their way to work, asking people for their papers on the street, it’s all for sizzle reels
Bovino left LA to come to Chicago and it's not like LA saw immigration operations stop - just less showboating from his crew. So even if these circulating rumors over the last week turn out real, I'm pessimistic about how much change to expect on the ground.

If I got to make the next James Bond movie, Bond would be a depressed and struggling physics professor in Minnesota whose wife wants to divorce him. He would encounter increasingly stressful personal tragedies and moral conundrums while desperately reaching out to an absent God for answers.

Seeing the tag “posts 100 or more times a day” float around and just how. I think I’m on here too much and I never even come close to that, even if you include replies likes and retweets. That cannot possibly be good for you

Feel like every time I watch the Packers line up for an important kick they self-immolate. Guess that’s one thing Green Bay can’t teach reliably

Kinda sucks that the Senate is on everyone’s minds and the primary is going to be boring lame and stupid. Hope everyone is ok waiting another 10-30 years for a fun one

Honestly the Dems caving on the shutdown makes this an even better post. Don’t blow our chances of winning the Senate by bringing up Trump’s goon squad assaulting random people for their skin color, focus on the healthcare debate that Democrats are literally going to give up on in a few weeks

Astonishing: Bovino and his agents showed up at the Bean this morning to pose for pictures. While Border Patrol snapped photos, one agent shouted, “Everyone say, ‘Little Village!’” The neighborhood where they are least welcome and most acutely felt. blockclubchicago.org/2025/11/10/b...
Border Patrol Agents Pose At 'The Bean' For Apparent Photo Op
The photo op came after agents tear-gassed a Little Village street and were spotted in the area numerous times. At the Bean, one agent shouted, "Everyone say, Little Village!"

Indivisible is actually a better ally for DSA than a lot of other left-coded organizations because it is structurally similar: membership driven activists who organize on their own time on issues that they think matters for their specific areas
Alternatively if that's not your cup of tea and you're more center left or whatnot like go sign up with Indivisible or some local group or whatever

Throughout this shutdown, Democrats have shown that we have the backbone to actually fight for what we believe in: lower costs, accessible healthcare, and a Congress that can be a check on Trump’s chaos.
Vague Republican promises are not enough — no deal without real progress on healthcare.

Inarguably true about consumer goods but that’s obviously not the sum total of people’s economic experience. Example: my childcare bill is going to be $1200 a month for 2 days a week, and the people doing that work are paid very little
people can buy more stuff today than ever before, more or less. compared to more than 3-4 years ago and it’s not even close. we are vastly wealthier on average now than even within near living memory
