We appreciate everyone who joined and peacefully exercised their constitutional rights in the city yesterday. We are one community. Solidarity matters.

Before entering education, I worked as a paralegal studying for a career in immigration and criminal law. Community has always guided my work.

Teachers are expected to use evidence-based approaches & strategies yet no one has ever trained us how to interpret research!

Huge thanks to @rastokke.bsky.social who shared this 1-page “red flags for education research” for teachers and the literacy coaches and consultants who tell us what to do!
