I was in Hinton last weekend, on an art jury with the wonderful Sharon Moore Foster and Claude Boocock. The Alberta Community Art Clubs Assoc is a great organization serving communities across Alberta, and begun by Professor Harry Wolfarth of the U of A's Extension Dept in 1968. acaca.ab.ca

The second Ortona Diaspora group exhibit has been installed at the Art Gallery of Alberta in the Community Gallery (lower level beside the Ledcor Theatre and Art Rental).
Exhibit dates are June 7th to August 30th.
Reception is June 28th from 1pm to 4pm.

Ortona Diaspora is a group art event in partnership with The Works that celebrates an arts community dispersed after the closing of the Ortona Armoury Arts Building in 2019 for renovations. Featuring artists of the Ortona Armoury Arts Community from past and present through an array of events.
