If some guy possessed then killed my step-mum, killed then wore the corpse of my dad. Destroyed my home planet then killed my new friend (who changes) then tried to blow me up, I then had to take my new face friend to be healed but in doing so I slipped and got my feet wet, I’d be fucking fuming

What with hiring Russian stooges, violent criminals and having a sex pest in the family, you'd think Nigel Farage would be considered an utter disgrace that should be kept off all broadcast channels and struck from politics, not championed in any way at all.
🚨 BREAKING: The former leader of Reform UK in Wales, Nathan Gill, has pleaded guilty to #bribery, admitting he received corrupt payments as a Brexit Party MEP in exchange for making statements in the European Parliament to promote Russia’s interests in #Ukraine.

This, from The Londoner yesterday, also features people on the march who claim not to be racists. Though the things they say prove otherwise

I think it was Iain Banks who said the secret to the perfect society was 'enjoy eccentricity'.

The idea isn't 'be eccentric', it's to celebrate it in others. The alternative is witless conformity or, worse, attempting to enforce witless conformity.

How have I never noticed that Courtney gets his line wrong here... It's 'Mordred'... not 'Mawdryn' (kind of a nice throwback though).

A vote for Reform is not a vote for anything new, disruptive, or ground changing. It's not a vote for working class representation. It's a vote for Tories who left the Tory party because it wasn't cruel and nasty enough.

Ideas for the celebration include themed beers with names such as Iron Lady and Grantham Lass.

We should do this
Portugal is taking online disinformation and fake news seriously. As part of a broader attempt to encourage media literacy, it’s offering 15-18 year olds a free digital subscription to a range of respected newspapers and magazines as well as online upstarts that don’t spread lies. (Monocle)

It’s a fair summary 👌
So, yes, 677 seats taken by the Crooked Bigots Party, but 676 seats lost by the Bigoted Crooks Party.

Meanwhile, 186 seats were lost by the Spineless Bigots Party, while the I'm A Tad Uncomfortable With All This Bigotry Party won 163 seats and the FFS Are You Trying To Kill Us All Party??? won 40.

What do people think will happen if small boats carrying just 20,000 people a year (0.03%) of the population and less than (3%) of migration are stopped?

Absolutely nothing, nothing at all.

It's the billionaires on their private jets who need to be stopped.

Peter Capaldi writes to Radio Times in 1974... but even better, 13 year old Philip Rabjohns who wants a Radio Times magazine devoted to Monsters from Doctor Who is told instead of the exciting plans for a Pallisers Special and also one on the Suffragettes, I bet he was chuffed about those....🤣

Just a thought, but having just watched another brilliant ep of New Doctor Who, it seems very odd to me that the narrative is that the show is ending... (except it's clearly doing very well for the Beeb and Disney+). This couldn't be a deliberate thing to stir up stories could it?
