To build support for science, it's not enough to just share facts. We need open conversations between scientists and people who are unsure. Social networks, while spreading false information, can also help share the truth.

#HeartMonth is a great time to get a cardiac risk assessment & know if you are at risk for heart disease. 80% of heart disease is preventable but we don’t often screen women. Heart disease is the #1 killer of women. Lack of awareness is a close second.

We're tracking Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) which has existed among wild bird populations in Massachusetts since 2022. Risk of human infection is currently low. Avoid contact with sick, injured, or dead birds and report it to mass.gov/reportbirds or call 311.
