If the grouse shooting industry are to be believed, Susie probably stamped her own chicks to death before turning the gun on herself.

Oh well. By a happy coincidence, less hen harriers means more red grouse for the toffs to shoot.

Hen Harrier ‘Susie’, whose chicks were stamped to death in 2022, has been found dead on a North Pennines grouse moor with gunshot injuries
If ever there was an example demonstrating the high level of persecution faced by Hen Harriers on UK grouse moors, the lack of consequences for the offenders, and the lack of justice for the victim…

This is Robbie Gibb’s BBC declaration. He says he owns 100% of the Jewish Chronicle. If that is the case, where did the money come from??

What potential conflicts of interests does he have? When is he going to answer these questions? And who is going to ask them?

In what was a very punchy piece of reporting, @arusbridger.bsky.social & @prospectmagazine.co.uk named the man they believe actually owns it: Paul Singer, a notorious vulture capitalist & owner of Elliott Management. Aka Robbie Gibb’s overlord

So there’s one aspect of the BBC story that has received zero attention: Robbie Gibb’s potential financial conflict of interests.

According to @arusbridger.bsky.social, he was just the bagman for the purchase of the Jewish Chronicle.

Bounty hunters...holy

Law enforcement should never be a for-profit business. It does not belong in the hands of private individuals. If and when you contract it out, you have to monitor it closely to prevent abuse. Unless the cruelty is the point...

I really can’t bear to see such headlines anymore. Immigrants prop up this country and its systems and institutions. Most of them work really hard to contribute to society. They are equally deserving of a dignified life that doesn’t involve being scapegoated by politicians & media everyday. Enough!

Increase in productivity since 1979: 87%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 32%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

After Ghislaine Maxwell lied to Todd Blanche, someone waived her sex offender status and moved her to Club Fed with "OUT" custody - allowing her to work outside the prison walls. 3 months ago, I got her Bureau of Prisons points screen as proof. We still don't know who approved all this.
BREAKING: EXCLUSIVE: Senator Whitehouse asked the BOP for Ghislaine Maxwells sex offender waiver, custody level, transfer code, and security point score. I have them. She's also been granted the ability to leave the facility for work assignments. My latest: www.muellershewrote.com/p/exclusive-...

The clearest proof that Britain is not Denmark is that Britain had much tougher asylum rules in 2022-23-24 than Denmark did.

If making asylum temporary could significantly reduce flows, Priti Patel + Suella Braverman would have stopped the boats.

The 2023 legislation was to *refuse all claims*
