Schumer at the very least cannot be Senate Minority Leader anymore. I'm refraining from any opinion about him as one of NY's senators but he is not up for the job of managing the caucus, and of working with the House Dems.

I’m sorry I can’t get over how fucking ridiculous it is that Mamdani actually said he doesn’t have a stance on the housing ballot propositions. And he said it one week before the election and while early voting is happening.

Super excited because I’m finally doing something I’ve been meaning to for years now! Tonight is the intro to Judaism class I’m taking (after years of informal work) as I start the process to formally convert. There’s ways to go yet but it feels good to follow through with this

So it's confirmed that my first intro to judaism/conversion-related class will be this tuesday, and I'm kinda overwhelmed by finally committing to this step and how right it feels.

I feel like once you know the tattoo you drunkenly "accidentally" got is a nazi symbol, if you don't go "wow that's awful I will get it removed" it negates any alleged contrition/ignorance involved. And if you claim it's an "oppo job" then it really kinda makes any sincerity questionable.

I feel like we didn’t need another neutral palette, especially when Red Scare liquid lipstick (among other items) is out of stock. And like almost none of the eyeshadow palettes but the nighttime realness and two other fucking neutrals/nudes.

This collab/release is actually making me mad about how boring and underwhelming it is and how much more could have been done, or what we could have gotten instead.
