I think these assessments are important for figuring out what happened and what we need to change. But hearing the stats laid out especially about how conservative young people are relative to older generation’s is depressing. It feels like a generation that feels hopeless.
“Young people have gone from being the most progressive generation since the baby boomers, and maybe even in some ways more so, to becoming potentially the most conservative generation that we’ve experienced maybe in 50 to 60 years,” David Shor said on the latest episode of “The Ezra Klein Show.”
