Candidate for Dallas City Council District 12. Marc has a long track record of getting results. His focus on collaboration and strategic planning makes him an effective player in any position, and he’s ready to bring a fresh perspective to Dallas.
I want to thank each and every one of you that supported my campaign. While the results aren’t what we hoped to see, I am confident that we can still create the change we desire for District 12. We may be down, but we’re far from out! Thank you again District 12.

Our team was up bright and early today because Election Day is today! It's the last chance to make your voice heard in this election. Polls are open from 7am to 7pm. Make sure to get out and vote!

Cara has been misrepresenting herself to the electorate of D12 for over 6 years! I've done the work and personally knocked on over 1,400 doors and many times I've heard the comment - I thought she was a democrat…. She is not!!!

You know you’re doing something right (and maybe the incumbent is doing something wrong) when current council members and the former D12 council member have coalesced behind your campaign.

I am so grateful to each of these accomplished individuals who have endorsed me! Vote May 3rd!

“From my experience around city hall, I know how to get things done the right way. I believe Marc shares this same wisdom. He knows things could be done more effectively, and he’s prepared to work alongside others on the council to make Dallas a more safe, more prosperous, more equitable city.”

I'm a firm believer that Diversity makes us stronger, smarter, more adaptable, and better able to meet the needs asked of us. The diversity that I am talking about today is one of professional background.

Why vote for me? Because as a financial advisor I bring much needed experience to City Hall. We need to make sure that our tax dollars are being well spent and invested appropriately in our collective future. My vision will lift up both District 12 and all of Dallas. I will prioritize the following:

We've been recommended by Philip Kingston for District 12. He also had some unfortunate words to say about my opponent...

If you were still wondering about Cara's politics her latest public filing showing $5000+ dollars from the Crow family and another $2500 from Republican Party.

I have raised $26k in smaller donations from friends, family, and neighbors. No Republican billionaires on my campaign finance report.

We've got the A team out blockwalking today. Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our campaigns!

Today I am proud to announce an endorsement from Rise AAPI. They are an organization that looks out for the best interests of the AAPI community, and they believe I will best represent AAPI individuals at Dallas City Hall. I look forward to being the council member they know I will be.

Cara Mendelsohn calls herself a “watchdog” for the city. But where has that gotten us? Crime is up and we receive the least amount of bond funding of all districts.

I’m no chihuahua. I’m more of a husky. Huskies work as a team. I’m here to unite, build, and deliver for working families.

I thought at my age I would have received my last report card, but here we are! We have a real chance to vote for change in District 12 and elect someone that works WITH other council members to move Dallas into the future. I promise to bring greater representation to District 12.

I voted! And you should too! Early voting runs through April 29.

Offering prayers for Pope Francis and his family. He was an incredible leader and blessed us all with his presence. He was our most progressive Pope to date, bringing empathy and human rights to the forefront in the modern Catholic Church. He will be missed.

Unlike our opponent, we aren’t funded by conservative billionaires who are seeking influence on City Hall. We are funded by everyday working people like you - and we are PROUD of that. Please donate what you can, every dollar is another voter reached!

I have the honor of announcing an endorsement from former District 12 council member Sandy Greyson! She served prior to our incumbent council member’s term and has seen firsthand the direction our district has headed. Thank you Sandy Greyson for your endorsement - I promise to get us back on track!

The DART Silver Line project was approved before my opponent took office, but throughout her term she blocked the project’s advancement. These delays cost taxpayers tens of million of dollars.
April 18, 2025 at 5:01 PM
This isn't the temperament of someone who can consistently get results at City Hall. The evidence bears that out. D12 receives the least amount of bond funding of any district, crime is up here despite a downward trend across the city, and she has cost taxpayers millions of delaying projects.

“Marc brings a collaborative and thoughtful approach to leadership that is critical for success.” - Jaynie Schultz, Council member of District 11
