As true a prediction then as it is today: rob people of their sense of security, and they will choose autocracy every time. The only fix is to tackle each of these problems one by one, head on. Obama didn't have the stomach for it. Biden neither. Now, the pendulum has swung back toward the fascists.
81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

I can clearly recall him using every leverage point at his disposal and employing a few dirty tricks.
