Immigration policy will (out of necessity) drive more innovation into these areas - alternative care settings, AI-powered care assistants, etc. Healthcare has a higher percentage of immigrant workers than the US labor market as a whole. (Another unlikely stage topic…) #hitsm
On the other hand, I recently had a family member experience a "hospital at home" "admission" -- no need to be in the physical hospital, multiple daily nursing visits, therapies. Better experience all around. #HITsm

Yes! In what other industry is it this "acceptable" to create so much friction for people who are at their most vulnerable. The marketer/UX brain is so overwhelmed how simple, yet impactful, the little things. Empathy shouldn't be an innovation. But sadly, it's a "differentiator" #HITsm #ViVEvent25

Trust erosion in foundational concepts, too - institutions, government, media. Transparency exposing falsehoods only adds to the angst. #hitsm
Comes down to EARNING trust—especially in the era of AI:
- Data Privacy
- Tech & Data Transparency
- Point of Care
- Access to Services
Ethical erosion, distrust in science, mis/disinformation isn't helping matters either. Leaders need to address the trust gap to meet the moment #HITsm #ViVEvent25

T3 Riffing further on Rasu's, Mike G's, and David H's pointing to patients, prior auth, & channeling Grace C's daily life, it would be so good to have an honest discussion panel about the post-Brian Thompson UHC era where patient rage is mainstream. #VIVEEvent would be brave to host that. #HITsm
