The UK class system is very interesting to experience as a foreigner. And I’m not just talking about how entrenched the class system is here; foreigners are seen as ‘outside’ the class system, but they also *must* be hardworking and contributing members of society to justify living here.

i don’t like this idea that a sir who is a fully paid up member of the establishment, the prime minister – who has a disdain for working class ppl and views us through the lens of a middle-class ‘thug’ stereotype – is working class.

🚨 NEW: Labour is shutting down Safeline, the only dedicated helpline for male survivors of sexual abuse.
Safeline is solely funded by government to the tune of £250,000 a year. Labour is cancelling all of that funding, thus forcing it to close.
