Phase 2 of hallway storage complete. Now into the final bit, which will be building the radiator cover, putting a marble surface on it and finding a grille for the front.

Started work this weekend on adding a shoe rack and storage to the entryway. Only around 20% done so far and took me all weekend. *collapses*

The office is virtually finished - just need to add a bit of extra lighting. That, however, can come over time as I find pieces that I like. :)

Going to be an interesting day. A lorry has hit the railway bridge right outside my workplace. It’s now closed until structural engineers review it. So only 1 way in, which is also the same route as a festival/event going on today. I sense lots of cancellations and/or grumpy outpatients incoming!

If I hear a politician talk about ‘efficiency’ in the NHS one more time I may just go insane. Healthcare isn’t a sandwich shop. People don’t get well on a controllable schedule. Cutting staff for ‘efficiency’ will only have the opposite effect.

Back from the cruise! Fun to see that when I was gone the cursed area nearby had another accident, this time with a bus losing control and ending up on a river. Never a boring day in Eastleigh!

Sooo near my target weight. Just 2kg to go. Skin feeling quite saggy now though. Need to ramp up weightlifting.

Oh, also…. Some bright architect thought that putting the stairwell on a large glass atrium at our hospital would look classy. It’s freezing in winter in there, and during summer you could cook an egg. Can’t touch the metal railings at the moment because they are so warm!

No, I’m not insane for taking a jumper into work. Our department is airconned (for the benefit of the drugs, not us). Makes adapting to the temperature outside when I pop to the loo a right bitch!

A neighbour has the LOUDEST cat. Like, I’ve never seen it but I’m sure it’s using a megaphone. I’ve decided that it must be my spirit animal because it’s annoying yet adorable. ;)
