As an aside from this, I wonder how many of the ultra-wealthy will just move their primary address to the Westchester, Long Island, Greenwich, etc. house but still keep the UES townhouse as their pied a terre and spend just as much time in NYC beforehand.

There was definitely some of this going on with Johnson prior to the ICE raids. Also, some spikes in crime in well-to-do neigborhoods like Logan Square didn't help perception, despite overall stats showing a decrease.
NYC is going to have the world's biggest media-manufactured crime panic in history the second Mamdani is elected. They aren't even going to wait until he is inaugurated. Whether or not you like the guy, you need to start preparing now for the fire hose of disinformation that is about to activate.
