Not with a bang, but with missing punctuation.
I've titled this "This is the way the world ends." A is a picture of a body of water, an unappealing water's edge, & a sign stuck into the dirt. The sign reads: CROCODILES DO NOT SWIM HERE If you read the sign the way that a SANE person would you think, HUH. So, crocodiles do not swim here. Interesting they'd make a SIGN saying so, but okay... A truly sane person who thinks critically would figure it out, of course. But we live in a time when the VAST VAST VAST majority of people who see that sign will think CROCODILES DO NOT SWIM HERE & betake themselves for a dip. Sigh. Good riddance. I will not mourn them. I do not say, "Oh, that's too bad" when I hear about some moron dying because he did something incredibly stupid. As Tim Hicks said (and I'm paraphrasing), "If you take acid and jump off the rook because you thought you could fly, that's one less moron in the gene pool. YOU SHOULD'VE TAKEN OFF FROM THE GROUND, ASSHOLE." A-fuckin-MEN, brother.
