So here's all I have to say about Charlie Kirk's assassination:

You don't have to feel sad for his death. I would argue you don't have to feel sad it has come to this. After all, he started this cycle of grievance politics.

I would, though, urge pause and appreciation for how fast we got here.

Sigh.

So here's the thing. I KNOW time is not a flat circle, as some people rather glibly say.

Why?

Because if it were, it would not be NEARLY as bad as it is now. Like, we are losing rights at a really rapid clip. Unless this flat circle reaches back to the fucking Stone Age, we are in uncharted waters

I wonder how long it's going to be before our former close allies (EU and elsewhere) start taking political refugees from the US.

I need you to call your reps and tell them to oppose the HHS appropriations bill. They are trying to sneak a nationwide total trans healthcare ban in it regardless of age.

Now we know this administration works against any "threat", but this whole saga illustrates that it is also incredibly petty. They cannot be wrong, and will go to great lengths to "prove" it.

Mr. Garcia's only blessing is that people are paying attention. How many more will vanish?

I like what Newsom is doing.

I like what Pritzker is doing.

I like what Mamdani is doing.

We need all hands on deck NOW.

We can worry about the presidential race LATER.

Once we secure its relevance.

Walking around as president while wearing a hat that says you were right about everything should automatically trigger the 25th Amendment.

It just occurred to me that a former acquaintance of mine (voted for Trump) kept saying he was looking out for "the best for everyone, not just a few."

Can these voters actually discern between themselves and just how different everyone else is? Or is it just a ruse anyhow?
