“Why does Angel Dust go back to Valentino?” This comment below, but also: Even if the contract wasn’t a thing, even if it wasn’t abundantly clear Valentino is a dick, victims of abuse can sometimes have such low self esteem/worth that they believe their treatment is deserved.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

I’ve always heard it said that having an internal locus of control correlates with confident, happy people.
But there ARE things outside of your personal control. I would think it’d be best to have a balanced locus of control, knowing what you can and can’t do/effect.

I was looking up reviews for the new paw patrol Christmas special (mostly because I was curious if anyone was being weird about their Santa), and wow. I didn’t even think I was on a Christian review site in the first place, but I guess it was. This got me to chuckle.

I don’t know who needs to hear this this gift-giving season, but no partner (usually the wife but not always) is the other partner’s/family’s secretary.
You CAN ask the people you’re curious about directly. Ain’t nothing wrong with it. Doesn’t make getting the gift any less pleasantly surprising.

As your standard white kid who watched Cartoon Network in the 90s, I remember this corny af Thanksgiving special by Hannah-Barbera with weird eyed people, tons of reused animation, and a weird squirrel who “saved” the first Thanksgiving because two of the kids were too stupid to live.
