I recently went to a McDonald’s where you don’t interact with anyone, you just go to a kiosk and then they put your order on a rack, and the thing that gets me is that nothing on the menu cost less because of it. No benefit for me! Doubt the people in the kitchen are getting paid better!

This is driven home by the fact that a lot of countries dont do homework.
Kinda feels like sitting there and intensely learning shit for 7 hours is enough for the day. Especially when its gonna happen again and again for the next 4 days.

There's a lot of things where I look back on myself as a teenager and think "ugh, what an idiot", but one of the few things I agree with teenage me about is that it's fucked up to make kids go to school for 7 hours and then expect them to do MORE work after school.
