Minnesotans are going to be reeling from this for a long time. Yes, it seems they’re in retreat. But that doesn’t fix the damage they’ve brought upon us.

When this is all over, we’re going to be left figuring out how to put our state back together again.

Meanwhile, the regime of the country with the second-most worst carbon emissions rolls back the endangerment finding of the EPA so they can destroy all of the federal rules trying to address it.

And the WORLD, especially the most vulnerable, will be the ones who suffer the most.

As someone whose first name is Scottish (Maxwell) and last name is Irish, with roots back to Ulster, I'm delighted the first thing he says is how the Scotch-Irish no longer have any pride. Sure thing, buddy. Same with how this all connects to Bad Bunny, notorious for, I guess, erasing Ireland?
Trump nominated a legit white nationalist to a top post at the State Department. I asked him some basic questions about his belief in the “erasure of white culture”. Watch this embarrassing, fumbling answer. Like he has never before been asked to explain his views.

Biden *went to court* to maintain Title 42 — an insane and, in my view, facially unlawful policy — for a full year after taking office. Then when he wound it down he moved to replace it with an even more stringent policy that was literally designed by Stephen Miller

Just going to note again, because somehow we've all completely retconned this and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, that pound-for-pound Biden had one of the most draconian border security regimes of any U.S. president ever, second only to Trump, *many of whose policies he inherited and kept*

I said a year ago Trump was not choosing political martyrs wisely and not accounting for what tools defendants are accorded.

I want to triple down on that. I think we're about to see revenge of the defendants--starting with Marimar Martinez.

Marimar is a Montessori teacher. And holy hell, a hero!

Still think it's really fucked up that the President can target a whole state and terrorize it and do ethnic cleansing and whatnot and life just goes on I guess without impeachment or a government shutdown or something.

She is also, to my somewhat trained ear, absolutely, positively terrified here. She is either intimidated by the process or deeply anxious about her relationship with her boss. Or both.

But she is terrified.

They replaced Notepad with Notepad (derogatory), but you can uninstall Notepad to get back...Notepad?
Alternatives exist and are good, but the simplest one is to go into Remove Programs and uninstall the entry for Notepad and replace it with nothing, as the old school Notepad is an OS level feature that still works without the bullshit one.

I love progress.

oh so just dumb luck these idiots didn’t shoot down a passenger aircraft
According to multiple NYT sources, it wasn’t even military personnel at Fort Bliss that fired an anti-drone laser at alleged cartel drones. It was CBP who used the weapon on loan from DoD against a child’s party balloon they mistook for a drone. The Pentagon gave CBP an anti-aircraft weapon.
