Just because international solidarity doesn’t seem to be an election winner right now, it doesn't mean that saving lives and working together to solve the challenges humanity faces is suddenly a bad idea.
Davos in a driverless world; Gaza aid convoys; business and humanitarian work; a trip to Stockholm; and the argument for international solidarity in a moment of aid cuts. Plus a visit to a Good Ancestor.

Fantastic interview with Tom Fletcher on his new role as UN Humanitarian Chief. Particularly appreciated his reference to the Auschwitz scene from Bronowski's "The Ascent of Man" -- a masterpiece of science education.

Sleeves...🧶

I could have been wearing this Felix sweater this winter if I hadn't stalled on the sleeves. It would have been finished even sooner if I hadn't knit the first sleeve and stopped...

What is it about sleeve procrastination?

There comes a point in a #knitting project's life that you really, really just want it to be finished...(and those ends all need sewing in too 😭).
Sigh.
Laya shawl be done soon please, so I can wear you. 🧶

I am searching for right wing voices who are standing up to Musk and speaking clearly against what is happening. It's very hard. Some are silent, which is better than active participation but not exactly brave.

So funny. These kids are excellent storytellers (some of the lip syncing is hilarious).
Children tell the Christmas Story with a little help from some grown up actors, and some rather unusual gifts from the Wise Men. I’m not convinced that’s a proper angel, either.

There’s no such thing as “too many books”—only not enough shelves, not enough time, and not enough space for the dream library with a sliding ladder. But let’s be honest… we’ll keep buying books anyway.
