I see a lot of people going through the emotional phases that I went through, but I don't try to correct them or school them.

Often there are no right or wrong answers, only answers that suites them the best. And it's often unique to the individuals.

The amount of competition in freelancing world is crazy.

I went through freelancer, within a minute of a post, there were 10s if not 100s of bids for the project. All the responses seemingly from talented folks with a professional team backing them up.

I envy the people that were trained in a process oriented environment from the get-go.

I was trained in a result oriented environment, and it shows during the scrum ceremonies. Either I'm way ahead of everyone else or dragging the team down.

Company wanted a semi-professional demo recording to a module that I worked on, with mic and camera.

I'm about to do my 10th trial, wish me luck.

You know that the day's going to be rough when your code that worked flawlessly in your local, starts throwing exceptions in the server.

.@diabrowser won me back with pinned tabs.

Add pinned folders, live folders, and better profile switching; and I’m set. Sticking with it.

I learnt a productivity tip today, try it out and let me know how it goes!

-> "If it can be done in 2 minutes, do it right away"

Managed to do some menial stuff that I've been putting off, following this tip.

I want to build something, but offline.

The problem is not sure where to begin, and I don't feel like looking it up online. I probably shouldn't be saying this as a web developer, but I'm mentally fatigued by "online" things.

About to work on a new project, and we are still at the architectural stage. We're currently at an impasse with REST v/s GraphQL.

ATM, I'm team REST as it's the one I'm most familiar with. Any reasons to switch to GraphQL?

Stack: .Net, Angular, MSSQL

Working on a neat module at work and tempted to keep at it over the weekend.

The catch: I can’t bill for unauthorized hours. Moments like this make me miss product companies; no billing to worry about.

I’m really missing gaming. I haven’t played in a few months and thought I’d get over it since I wasn’t a heavy gamer to begin with.

But I still miss it and have been craving a session. I might just fix the laptop tomorrow.

Was a bit low earlier, but oddly feeling motivated now. Maybe it’s the sad Bollywood playlist, maybe it’s the birthday wishes from family and friends.

Either way, back to the grind; getting better, one step at a time.

I've never used MCP servers and am trying it today.

So far, I'm finding it a pain to configure lol.

PS: Trying to work with Figma's MCP server, by connecting it to my VS Code.

I'm not sure what's going on with products sold through Instagram ads.

I can't think of a single product that I've bought after being influenced by an ad(or repeated ads) on IG and not regretted it.

They always end up uninspiring and blown out of proportion. Not worth a cent.

Finally got Zed on Windows and installed the CFML extension.

Voila! Finally, a CFML extension that plays well with other themes!

It's far from perfect, doesn't support a lot of latest syntaxes but that can be mended. Hyped about it nonetheless.

A pro-tip for taking interviews.

Use analogies while explaining the concept.

People often also try to assess your communication and comprehension abilities during interviews, and doing this helps them understand you better.

I'm watching Haikyuu again on Netflix. Why are the translations so off? They are summarizing what's being said instead of translating what's being said.

The thing about bluesky that I really like is how "human" it feels.

There's no format or hooks. People are posting whatever they want to post, however they want to post. Nobody cares about the algorithm.

It feels like communicating with regular people and not influencers.

Why are downloads from Google Drive so slow on my office laptop, on my home network?

They are fast in my office network, or on my personal laptop.

I'm going through Rulebox in CFML, and while I understand how to use it, I'm failing to figure out "when" to use it.

What am I missing with the rule engines? When are they needed?

How do I tell my father that the masala puri he brings home tastes awful?

He's 60, retired. Got a job near home because he was too bored, and now he's on his way back, brings Masala Puri from a nearby shop.

I dunno how to break it to him when he looks so happy bringing it home

The approaches taken by Comet v/s Arc for boosting productivity are interesting.

Arc - Better tab/resource management using folders, pins, intuitive profile (and many more)

Comet - Remove the need for tabs

At that point of my life where I wish my selfie would go viral and earn me millions and then I don't have to work ever again.

The reason why group chats annoy me,

Person 1: starts a topic
Person 2: joins the conversation
Person 3: Talks about something random that has nothing to do with the topic

Confront? They'll blame on ADHD or something

Like, bruh.

Does LinkedIn not have a "Mark all notifications as read" option or am I blind?

I don't wanna go through all of those notifications man.
