Truly incredible
I started watching this recording of The Gospel at Colonus last night just to see the early number, "Stop, Do Not Go On," and ended up watching the whole thing. This is truly one of the greatest cultural creations of our time, and still too little known.

Such a good interview. I love how Iyer and Smith talk about their compositions and collaborations, in a language that’s not about musical jargon so much as spacing. They speak of playing in “a vertical stream” and “across” each other.
