Harvard's "$27 copy" of Magna Carta is actually an original 1300 document! It was uncovered through imaging.
This shows the importance of digitisation, difference light sources (UV) and scientific analysis to explore our cultural heritage to reveal things! 📜 #PaperConservation #ConservationScience

I watched this mesmerising video showing Beethoven's letterlocking technique! 📜✉️

Seeing the original folding + sealing methods, and history of interventions (opening, additions, repairs) gives insight into the item's journey. Each fold, repair, and alteration tells its own story! #PaperConservation
