Y'know what... I'll say it before the Pokémon Fandom Cycle shifts and it becomes a common opinion: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the best games in the entire series. They pretty much have most of the stuff fans want, but everyone glosses over them because of the pacing.

Y'know what... I'll say it before the Pokémon Fandom Cycle shifts and it becomes a common opinion: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are the best games in the entire series. They pretty much have most of the stuff fans want, but everyone glosses over them because of the pacing.
Hot Take: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are overhated, and the hate they got reminds me of the hate Gen 5 got. Think about it, the hate was mostly from older fans, and it was mostly focused on one thing about the games (in Gen 5 was the Pokémon designs and in SV was the preformance/bugs).

Legends Z-A will be the first new mainline #Pokemon game I play during adulthood. Which is honestly wild since I can actually say that Sword and Shield was a part of my childhood (was 12 when it first came out/when I first played it).

2015-2018 were the best years to be a #Pokémon fan imo... Not only did Pokémon GO give the franchise a second wind, a lot of unique stuff got added, like Z-moves, Ash Greninja, the GX and BREAK cards in the TCG... Plus both XY and SM Animes were amazing.

I love Pokémon! Hot take(?) but I think Alola (gen 7) is the best generation. It has the best characters, the anime’s great and super cozy, and I love the Pokémon they introduced for the most part.

The Pokémon Fandom are no different from the Sonic Fandom.
Both will never be satisfied and both will always find something minor or ridiculous to complain about.
I'm sick of it and it's why I'll never be part of them.

A lot of people praise B2W2 but really overlook SM and USUM which does what B2W2 did AND more. Hopefully in the next few years Gen 7 will get the Gen 5 treatment from fans as people who grew up with it (like me) look back on it and realize how great these games are. #pokemon #pokemonmemes
