How about some spiky spiders tonight? This one is Micrathena acuta, a spiny orbweaver found in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest. It is believed that the spines serve as a defense from birds and even predatory wasps.

IDK why but whenever I show people monogeneans they always make phallic jokes. I think they’re the least penis looking type of worm. Go look at Trypanorhynch tapeworms and then try to tell me you think monogeneans look like a dick.
