I agree, we are not powerless. BUT-I am trying to figure out what little old me can do to be in this fight, short of leaving firm voicemails at reps offices. What can an average middle aged white woman 'do' in terms of action in my immediate community? Watching it unfold and 'complaining' isn't it.

If this were Joe Biden, MTG would be showing up bright early tomorrow morning with Articles of Impeachment. I'm sorry, but seeing Democrats parade in front of microphones 'condemning' Trump's order and telling us what we already KNOW isn't going to work for us. WHAT WILL THEY DO ABOUT IT???

I have a special needs adult son. He is 33 years old and has cerebral palsy with epilepsy. He takes 14 pills a day (3 meds) to remain 95% seizure free. He is the most amazing human I know and I’m honored to be his mom. Losing his benefits would be catastrophic.

I have a special needs adult son. He is 33 years old and has cerebral palsy with epilepsy. He takes 14 pills a day (3 meds) to remain 95% seizure free. He is the most amazing human I know and I’m honored to be his mom. Losing his benefits would be catastrophic.

Setting aside what's happening 'out there' since the election, I am curious what everyone is doing to get grounded. I am re-acquainting with 'The Power Of Now' work, more consistent meditation practice and- NO mainstream/cable news. Of course my usual: lifting weights and daily walks outside.
