This may be an "old" book Apps J.W. (1991) "Mastering the teaching of adults" but I am enjoying reading the tips (pre Internet) of being an effective facilitator of learning and the metaphors for a teacher.

#LTHEchat A3 The main challenges were remembering to give examples of practice rather than just talk about practice. This is something then to continually help our PGCerters with: Give an example of that - how do you know it worked - capture a quote from a student/a peer. They don't want to boast!

A6 AI Agents, yes that technology we are fascinated by, is coming for various (entry level) jobs. Using PSF and the Fellowship process to pause and show evidence of where you add human advantage is key. So is critical thinking and not believing the BS. #LTHEChat @richbale.bsky.social
