watching people treat their actual ability to think and communicate and process complicated subjects as if those things are their high school senior math class ("I will not need this as an adult") and not imperative for a good life has been just so so confusing. love yourself better please.
This will sound weird but love yourself enough to write your own term papers.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk are disrupting a breakthrough cancer treatment so they can fund tax cuts for billionaires.

Tell your friends.
NIH scientists have a cancer breakthrough. Layoffs are delaying it.
A big step forward in cancer therapy has been slowed by layoffs and new restrictions at the National Institutes of Health, where it was developed.

This feels like a pretty accurate description of my adult life.
I had a dream last night that I was out of work and the only job I could find was training elven swamp wizards. The only problem was that I didn’t know any elven swamp wizardry. So first I had to secretly train myself! Hijinks ensued, etc. (Maybe no more late night video games right before bed.)

We should be divided. One side is cranks and criminals who want to roll back the Enlightenment and impose techno-feudalism. We should be against them.
"It is very clear that, if there is a middle of all of this hot mess of division, Americans want us to work together when we can and find common ground," Sen. Amy Klobuchar tells the Opinion writer Michelle Cottle.

I didn’t leave X because people there had different opinions and ideologies, I left because it stopped being fun. I get on social media to chat with people who think thinking is fun. X stopped being a place where that was true.
