What a marvellous few days it has been. From Uppsala to Bologna to Bordeaux, talking about writing, books, illustrations and festival curation. Missing Lagos like crazy.

Following the completion of an Illustrations course delivered by tutors at Mimaster, Bookstorm is excited to announce that 2 brilliant 🇳🇬 illustrators Kayode Onimole @kroplex & Chiamaka Chukwu have been invited to participate in the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

For a lot of us, losing Twitter isn’t really about losing ties to the company itself. It’s losing 10+ years of real, asynchronous communities, professional development, the ability to get gigs and clients, the ability to promo/share your art on an extremely broad scale. The loss of that has impact.

This two-day public holiday already feels like a weekend so I am going to treat it accordingly.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was a trip!
