I do not understand the advice to 🇨🇦 candidates to not talk about Trump and instead talk about “cost of living”. Trump is the single biggest risk factor for rising prices and job losses in the months and years ahead.

I hope there’s at least some takeaway for everyone in every democracy (from this admittedly extreme case) that we don’t have the luxury of demanding perfection in every election, and sometimes you just have to vote for someone relatively close to your values when they’re able to stop someone worse.
