I won't say anything bad against the iOS spell checker😂
Someone says they found an ὄν in the Greek texts at perseus.uchicago that should be a ὅν. Would they have known to type a grave accent if needed? No further indications about the text they were reading. No email address. Thanks, I guess? 🤷‍♀️ I do very much welcome actionable corrections🙄.

People of the Books🥰
Black friday for scholars of religion. The moment the book exhibition opens on the last day of #aarsbl25 and some publishers just give away their books for free, so they don't have to ship them back home 😍

Traveling back from a wonderful conference. Learned a lot; saw old friends and met new ones, but I believe this image will also prove useful in teaching, research, and much more.

DH peeps - your mission, should you choose to accept it
So, someone shared this with me. There are a series of pseudonymous essays from 2023 in the Claremont Institute that they think were authored by Russ Vought.

Any ideas how to verify this?

TFW a group of people new to the US meet (_hear!_) steam heat for the first time.🤯 Including a worried student asking whether the radiator might explode. I can relate: When I just got here and one day woke up to a sharp whistling sound in the early a.m., I thought it had to be a burglar alarm.
