The good news is that the Nassau County DA, who worked on this case with the US Attorney’s office, has the goods to bring State charges against Santos — and may well do it. (And of course no federal commutation or pardon would work if he’s convicted.)

After learning about my participation in yesterday’s No Kings protest in NYC, a friend offered some good advice about the next protest I attend: Keep your phone in airplane mode.
I was also reminded about facial recognition software. So next time, in addition to wearing a mask, I’ll also wear 🕶️.
