"Immigration enforcement" is about to get $175 billion to spend over the next 4.25 years.
For some perspective: Last year's budget for the entire Russian MILITARY was $146 billion.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

A curious superstition (one that I do, as it happens). If I was asleep and someone woke me by tapping on my door it most certainly would NOT bring that person good luck.
The phrase “knock on wood” - or “touch wood” in the UK - is an ancient one deriving from the belief that tapping on trees awakes the gods and spirits that reside within them and brings good luck.
