The United States regime is aiming to withhold federal funds for transition care and everything about the honorable opposition's public statements this year has indicated they're itching for an excuse to throw trans people under the bus.

I get really emotional reading about how vulnerable trans and GNC kids are to mistreatment and neglect.
I have so many memories of adults I admired or respected being unexpectedly harsh or cruel to me and never knowing why and just feeling overwhelmed and in pain.

The more I see of Starmer, the more I liken his fate to that of Jagmeet Singh here in Canada. A "champagne socialist" who wore a Rolex.
Singh never achieved anything close to government but showed promise.
The end result however was the ruin of the NDP, a party analogous to Labour.

It's not just romance fiction; trying to find any good fiction where a trans woman is *the* main character isn't easy.

I think ultimately the reason trans women are so underrepresented in romance fiction is the same reason we’re marginalized in the world of sex and relationships to start with—we’re culturally cast as toys or diversions rather than wives, than worthy partners

It's a very blunt realization, and not one many are comfortable hearing about when another actually has the *power* to confront and own their trauma and past.
It is a part of my past, the good has yet to outweigh the bad, and there's no other way to tell the story.

Trauma, especially clinical trauma, doesn’t fade over time and continues to shape how you experience the world now.
