„Quiet, Piggy!“ Just think about that for a minute, and what it means to live in a time when a President can assault a woman in public like that without any consequences.
It‘s quite a testimony to the age of regression we live in.

“Did Women Ruin the Workplace?”
No, shareholder capitalism did. It “built a culture that treats workers like machines, not human beings with bodies, families, and limits…”
Reshma Saujani on the idiotic New York Times headline everyone is talking about:

For much of my career I have focused on helping leaders be, well, better leaders. I coach them to understand that one of the keys of great leadership is listening.

Now, I realize listening is also a key to a great democracy.

What a great read. Thanks @karaswisher.bsky.social for sharing

Even in Utah! 🎉🎉🎉
This won’t get the headlines NYC and Virginia and New Jersey are getting, but the local results of yesterday’s elections in Salt Lake County (which includes both blue SLC and purple and red suburbs) seem significant.

Absolutely heart breaking. He speaks for so many including the son of one of my close friends who worries every day what will happen to his parents - hard working, tax paying immigrants who, like my ancestors, believed in the American dream and wanted more for their children.
We must do better!
He’s right. He should be focusing on school. Trumps new family separation is cruel & wrong. And yet the “religious” GOP party sits idly by.
Devastating— “I’m afraid for my parents to leave the house. They treat us like dogs because of the color of our skin. I shouldn’t be scared, I should be focusing on school.”

A 16yo American living in fear of the Trump regime’s ICE goons terrorizing brown people pleads for help.

Now - finally - a new generation of leaders can arise. Ladies - who’s in?

Every race. It’s basically been every race.

Governors. Mayors. Long-held GOP dog-catchers. School boards. Water boards. Flipped a dungeon master in a rural Iowa D&D club. State senators. State reps. A janitor in Duluth. State justices. Three GOP Uber drivers.

Just everything.

The New Versailles
WOW: The White House says the president's MAIN PRIORITY is his BALLROOM. SNAP is ending. Subsidies for health care are gong to double and in some instances quadruple plan premiums. The government is shut down. The cost of living is through the roof. And his priority is his ballroom.

“The Tax on Being a Girl”?

Trump cuts foreign aid, a few months later girls are no longer getting educated and are being forced to marry. Ends decades of effort to advance women and girls abroad.

US women: Don’t just think it’s a “there” problem. It can - is - happening here too.

When things appear dire, when we think we don’t have a voice or that the tide has shifted so dramatically we can’t right-size our country and democracy, let’s remember that WE brought Jimmy Kimmel back. And, let us never forget ourvoices and choices and actions matter.
Tonight, the American people - in defense of free speech - returned a political satirist to the airwaves after a burgeoning fascist regime tried to silence him.

It’s an historic night. I won’t forget it.
